Sa loob ng zoo

Kung anong dumi ng basurahan sa bahay niyo, ito ring dumi ng politika at kalakaran sa ating gobyerno. Parang kapag pumasok ka doon hindi na mga tao ang nakakasama mo. Para kang nasa zoo na tumitingin sa mga hayop, mga hayop na big time at naka barong at naka-dress, mga naka kurbata at may mga alahas pang nakasabit. Mukang mga kagalang galang at desente. Ngunit sa likod ng kanilang kumikinang na damit at malinis na itsura, natatago ang madumi at illegal nilang Gawain.

Sa loob ng kanilang “zoo” makaka-meet ka ng iba’t ibang klaseng mga hayop, daig pa ang mga nasa Manila Zoo sa kusog, lakas at liksi ng mga ito. Ilan sa kanila ay mga uri ng hayop/tao na babanggitin ko. Sa maniwala ka man o hindi, sa tingin ko, kahit konti, sasang-ayon ka sa akin.

• LEON (Lion)

Nangunguna ditto sa lahing ito ay ang mga hari o namumuno sa zoo. Sila yung mga nasa taas; makapangyarihan at maimpluwnsyang mga tao sa gobyerno. Bakit kamo leon? Dahil sila yung mga taong ganid at kayang pumatay para sa kapangyarihan, at maproteksyonan ang kanyang posisyon. Pwede rin nating sabihin na sila ang mga pasimuno, dahil sila nga naman ang leader.

•  BUWAYA (Crocodile)

Gaya ng mga leon, ganid din ang mga ito. SObra ang takaw at gusto nilang sila lagi ang may hawak ng pera. Gaya ng natural na buwaya, hindi sila nabubusog o nakukuntento sa isang sagpangang pagkain. Sampung beses kaysa normal na pagkain ang kaya nilang gawin. Madalas sila yung mga nakabarong at nakaupo sa upuan ng kongreso. Sila yung mga ubod ng yaman kahit hindi naman ganoon kataas ang kanilang posisyon. Kahit na hindi sila galing sa kilalang pamilaya. Daig pa nila ang yaman ng mga eresero at dami ng bahay na meron sila. Daig pa ang mga bilihan ng kotse sa dami nilang kotse sa kani kanilang mga mansyon.

• AHAS (Snake)

 Tunog pa lang halatang alam mo na. Gaya ng mga nasa pelikula, sila yung mga taong nang-aagaw o nagtataksil sa isang kaibigan o kasama upang masira ito at mawala sa kasalukuyang sa kasalukuyang posisyon at siya ang papalit. Minsan sila rin ang nagtataksil sa sariling samahan upang magmukang mabuti at manatili sa pwesto. Ingat lang dahil magaling silang mga actor, sanay sa pagpapanggap. Sila rin ay mahilig bumulong, kaluskos ng kaluskos, animo’y laging may binabalak.

Sila ang big three ng kanilang zoo. Dako naman tayo sa sumusunod na mga klase ng hayop.

• PARROT

Ito ang mga madadaldal sa zoo. Sila ang mga tgapag-hatid ng mga balita sa lahat. Hindi sila natitigil magsalita kahit na wala ng kakwenta kwenta ang kanilang sinasabi. Sila ay may dalawang pamamaraan upang mapansin; (1) ang magingay ng magingay gamit ang nakakabasag tainga nilang boses at, (2) Sinasabi nila ang gusto nila kahit na pauli-ulit lang. Pinapaikot lang nila ng pinapaikot ang usapan. Lalo na pag nagkakaroon ng mga pagpupulong. Aakalain mong matalino sa dami ng sinasabi kahit wala naman ng kakwenta kwenta.

• USA (deer)

Ito ang mga uri ng hayop sa zoo na palaging painosente. Sila yung mga laging walang alam (o talagang wala silang alam) para makaligtas sila sa galit at bangis ng leon o ng buwaya. Dahil mapagmapnggap na mang-mang, mabilis silang nagtatago at tumatakbo kung ang panganib ay malapit na sa kanya. MAbilis na silang nawawala pag bulgaran na ng mga baho. Wala pang isang minute, wala na sila sa paningin mo.

• KWAGO (Owl)

Kung merong duwag at bobong usa, ito naman ang kabaliktaran niya. Ang kwago na animo’y punong-puno ng kaalaman. Akala mo lahat alam niya kung magmagaling. Pero hindi lahat ng alam niya ay totoo. Minsan siya ay nagpapsikat at nagyayabang lang, mistulang bumabagyo sa lakas ng hangin pag sila ay dumarating. Ang kwago, sila ang laging source ng mga parrot at tagapag-patunay ng mga leon. Hindi lang sila matalino, sila rin ay napaka tuso.

Ilan lang ang mga yan sa mga hayop na iyong nakikita sa kaharian ng politika. Kung merong katagang “wow! Hayop” dahil sa pagkamangha, marahil mapapa “Hayop ka!” pag sila na ang klase ng hayop na mapapagusapan. Nakakatuwa man silang pagmasdan sa harap ng TV, pero hindi ka na muling masisiyahan pag narinig mo na silang magsalita. Parang gugustuhin mo na lang basagin ang TV niyo para hindi ka lang maasar. Mas tahimik pa ang buhay.

Malaki ang inis ko sa mga nasa posisyon, hindi dahil may mga utang sila sa akin (pero malaki ang kupit nila sa atin). Palibhasa hindi pa ako bumuboto at parang ayaw ko na nga ring bumoto dahil parepareho lang sila. Pero ang higit na nakakainis sa lahat, ay ang mga tao na nagpapakatanaga na ilagay sila sa pwesto. Masyadong nauuto sa mga mabubulaklak na salita at nasisilaw sa mga pera binubudbod sa muka nila.

Oo! Sige, titigil na ako dito. Baka pag may natamaan sa mga pinagsasabi ko, ipa assassinate nila ako o i-massacre pa ang pamilya ko, o ‘di naman kaya ay ipakain nila ako sa mga alaga nila. Ay! Naalala ko pala, mga vegetarian ang mga ito. Tanging mga kulay berde lamang ang nilaamon nila. Walang lugar para sa mga taba at laman ko.

Love is also a tragedy

A little boy asked his mother, 'Why are you crying?' 'Because I'm a woman,' she told him.

'I don't understand,' he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, 'And you never will.'

Later the little boy asked his father, 'Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?'

'All women cry for no reason,' was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, 'God, why do women cry so easily?'

God said: 'When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfaltering.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed.'

DISAPPOINTMENT

In this topic, I know I can relate myself easily. In my years of living, I experienced so much disappointment in my life. Not as much as what others had, but such disappointment that a teenager could ever possibly encountered. Anyway, this is my next entry, after the “ADJUSTMENT.” I am not expecting you to read it or so, however, I just wanted to share ideas, pieces of advice and stories about my topic.

Maybe, the feeling of being frustrated or disappointed is what we avoid of. Well, who likes it anyway? People tried their very best for them not to feel bad with things. In contrary, people really expect too much that in the end, they never come up of it, how disappointing. Somehow, people are the ones who did their own disappointment in life, but they can’t accept it, so they blame it to others, which is unfair.

What are the things that really give you disappointment? When someone or somebody rejected you? When someone or somebody broke his promise? When you were failed to get the grade you wished of? When your dad gone abroad expecting him to be in your graduation? Or when you were looking up to something that you couldn’t reach? (Not the literal one) There are so many things that made you mad, things that brought wrinkles on your face. Oh well, you should really try not to encounter those.

Actually, I recently encountered one thing that really disappoints me to heck. Though you don’t want to read my story, I don’t care. I still want to write whatever I want.

For once, excitement put me into heaven. The thought of seeing and enjoying the rest of the day with one you really missed really brought joy to me. Well, it happened. I saw him and had fun with him. However, I was very disappointed of what he had said to me. I thought, he would be very glad to go with me but I’m wrong. He had other errands after we met. Actually, I wouldn’t feel bad if he had just told me so. The nerves of him! As he told me that he couldn’t accompany me and his friends or his group mates were waiting for him, I didn’t know what and how to react. I was shocked and for a short time, I felt nothing. I really wanted to slap his face hard, but I couldn’t. It seemed that my body got stuck and I couldn’t even wink. When ‘I’ came back to myself again, I told him what was in my mind that time. I told him everything I did for me not to miss that day. I didn’t mean him to feel guilty, I just couldn’t keep it. He was really annoying that time. As I continued talking and saying sorry, my eyes got teary; not because he couldn’t come with me, but because of the frustration I felt that I couldn’t express.

I knew that I was wrong to expect too much, but I guess, I was on the right position to expect because he promised me that that tomorrow would be our day. It wasn’t my bad; it was him who had mistake. He didn’t do what he promised and he made me feel “pa-asa” onto him. Before our misunderstanding gone to far, I just allowed him to leave and I just put a big smile on my face for him not to feel so guilty and not to think too much. Why did I do that? I guess, part of being martyr, and not of being selfish. He explained that his agenda was for their finals, so why not allowing him?

At the end of the day, my happiness and excitement flew away and being replaced by disappointment. The only thing I did was sighed and tried to forget everything, looking on the positive side of the day and tried to overcome the negative ones. It’s very hard, and ‘till now, I can still remember and feel the frustration and disappointment I felt.

Oh well, back to reality. I know that situation isn’t yet the worst experienced I have, but still then, that’s the most recent one. How about you? What is your experience that put you into the end of your patience or down you ‘coz of displeasure?

As far as my observations are concern, I notice that most of discontent of many is because of their estate in life. I mean the jobs, families, works or so. Love is not included here. How did I say so? Because of the everyday problems we encountered. Also because, many ask themselves or blaming others of whatever they have today, especially the negative one. Right?

I usually observe and witness those everyday when we go to school. It is not me who have those disappointments in life, or in work in particular, but my mom. My mom is a college dean in the school I studied of. Well, as a dean, she resolves such problems in school and even with the students, she is mostly in charge of planning and negotiating for different school events or affairs, she is the one who did all the schedule of the students every semester, but of course with the help of her secretary. Sometimes, she can’t eat on the right time because of those stuffs. She can’t go to mall and relax herself because she has to work everyday and she has to do her responsibility as a mother. When she is very pushed to the end that she is lack of patience, she easily get mad or frustrated when someone or somebody do not do his or their work right. So, as her daughter, I must not add with her “Problem,” so whenever I go there, I always put a big smile on her face, ask her to eat and have a little chat so that she can relax for a while. I guess, for a parent, it really done something big, though for me, it is not really a business.

Honestly, I can’t give a right and effective advice for this topic, for I know, in order for someone to get away his ‘disappointment’ from him depends upon him. I mean, how willing is he to change stuffs that go round to his world. How willing he is to forgive someone and to give second chances or more to someone done wrong to him. It is really up to you. I might give some, but then, I know, not all could do it.

In my humble opinion, frustration isn’t really a problem to anyone, unless, you’re going deeply in an issue that you shouldn’t go with. Like involving yourself to someone’s dilemma about something that doesn’t match your taste, as in you really feel disgusted about it. Of course, since it isn’t in favor of you, you will really feel disappointed, nevertheless, you really understand the situation, and that’s another thing.

Speaking of involving yourself on someone’s problem, why do people insisting themselves in such issues that they should not get involve greatly or being affected? Try to notice it with some of your friends. Though she is your friends, sometimes, whenever you open up stuffs to her it seems that she is more disgusted than you or anyone that is more riveted. Say for an instance that your classmate told you that her boyfriend and her having some misunderstanding.

The conversation goes like this…

A: Girl, what’s wrong? You do not look good today.

B: No, it’s nothing. I’m fine, thanks.

A: C’mon, your eyes don’t tell lies to me. What’s your problem, maybe I can help.

B: Well, my boyfriend and I having a misunderstanding. It isn’t really a big issue but it’s becoming one.

A: What do you mean? What’s that issue?

B: I told him that I don’t like him getting much with other girls even in the internet but I’m not saying that he shouldn’t make friends with girls, but to lessen his sweetness with them knowing that he had a girlfriend now.

A: and what did he say?

B: he said that he’s not doing anything wrong. He also said, “Ano ba naman yan, are you losing your trust for me? Isn’t it enough that we’re together,” those stuffs, that hurt me.

A: What’s with your boyfriend, he can’t get what you are pointing to. He can’t understand what you feel with that matter.

B: I want to talk to him now, but I think he’s avoiding me.

A: Why’d you have to approach him? He causes the problem in the first place.

B: It’s still nice if we decipher it now before something will be added that will change the story.

A: What?!? Don’t let your ego down. If I were you, I won’t be that good to him. I’ll let him realize my point as well as his mistakes. Nerves of him!

B: (What’s with her? She looks more affected and irritated than I.)*While A is saying all her side and how frustrated she is.*

A: (blah…blah…)…he doesn’t know to respect you.

B: Thanks friend for listening. (I have to end this up now. It will take me forever before she stopped. My ears are bleeding now, hearing all her false advice.)

A: You’re welcome. Just tell me if he hurts you again and…

B: I will. Bye.

Now tell me, in that situation, did A really help B to solve her problem? A big NO! NO! Right? Obviously, she didn’t give anything right; she just nagged and nagged about the boyfriend. Oh well, I don’t want to note much on that, I remember something, something evil.

Based from the book entitled, Hand me over the chocolate before I somebody gets hurt, Karen Scalf Linamen, I read, we should not let our grudges grow and eat us; eat our personality, our existence. We shouldn’t let those grudges conquer as. Those grudges that I am talking about are anger, madness, disappointment, loneliness, grief, and other negative emotions you could ever feel. Be positive and overcome your weaknesses. Improve yourself and your life style. Seek for your family, friends or even His help. They will really help you. Ask for good advice from the expert. Read and read, you might learn from those.

You should not feed your disappointment. Try not to make your burden grow by not thinking negatively and having self-pity. Stop blaming others. Look at yourself and realize your mistakes.

DREAM: BELIEVE – PLAN – WORK-OUT

Everyone has their own dreams that they really wanted to achieve; they maybe a little boy, a teenager, a man or a woman, or even the old ones. However big or small your dreams are, it give different aspiration to you. It inspire your to do things and work harder to reach it. It inspire you to feel happier, bring smiles to your face whenever you think and work for it. Full-filling your dreams change you somehow. Like from being lazy and boring person; once you dream of something, to be someone or wanting something/someone you really admire, it will give you motivation, it will pursue you to work, change your lifestyle or even your personality and you won’t be the lazy and boring person you were before. Another is from being a man that is full of frowns. When you dream of someone you love, you will change for her in order for her to like you. You won’t frown anymore and you’ll always smile whenever you see her. Those are the things that dreams can do to you. It’s like a power that makes you stronger. However you wanted to achieve your dream still put on limitation on yourself. You might become selfish or greedy. Always remember that too much craving for something will give harm to you.

BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS: First thing first.

“To see is to believe.”

Well, that’s what others deem about. They won’t accept things unless they saw or encounter it.

“Believe in your dreams…”

These what others say, those who are really hopeful and do trust to themselves, thinking that they are able to full-fill it.

Both talks about believing but differ in thought. One is on the side of reality and another is on imagination or even impossible things. However, the difference of the second quote to the first one is that you are actually accepting something though it is still in your imagination or you’re trying to prove if it will be real or not.

Imagining, thinking, and hoping aren’t enough if you have a dream for yourself or for others. You must also believe in yourself, boost your self-esteem and self-confidence. Believe that you are strong enough to full-fill it, where you can do it, no matter how hard or how risky it is, no matter if it will take you long time. You have to be optimistic; looking in everything positively.

Learn to trust yourself and others, those that help and support you.

For you to believe in yourself and even in your dreams, I guess you must possess or do some that are listed:

a) Be optimistic.

b) Know your strengths and weaknesses. Improve your strengths, kill your weaknesses.

c) Boost up your confidence from:

i. God

ii. Your family

iii. Your friends

iv. Your dream

v. Your inner self

vi. Your dreams

d) Never get affected much of your failure or incoming failure.

e) Read some Successful stories of other people.

f) Avoid those who put you down, they’re vexation of your belief.

g) Don’t be so gullible.

h) Pray.

I know, somehow, those can help you to have a great belief in yourself and also in your dreams. Give time to yourself and think, think, and think twice. Then decide.

PLAN…DESIGN what you wanted…Create your Destiny.

People must have a plan for themselves. They must organize things for better work and outcome. As well as in achieving your dream, you shall create a good and effective plan; not just doing things without thinking the consequences you might get.

Dreaming is like doing a laboratory research. You have to analyze the problem, know the reliable resources, create a hypothesis, plan for the procedure, test your hypothesis, and then conclude. If it yields in what you don’t expect, then go back to the steps, try different plans of achieving it, collect more information. It’s like a cycle. Having a good plan needs time; time for thinking for the best decision.

Here are some tips or maybe some procedure for you to create a better plan for your dream-achieving project; achieving it in good way.

a) Write the things you wanted to happen.

b) Eliminate those that will come up negative.

c) Arrange them from least or lightest thing you can do immediately down to the biggest one.

d) Encircle or mark those you started or you did.

Capitalize the words you don’t want to forget.

e) Write down the closest persons that can help you working out.

f) Ask for expert’s advice in doing such work in the same aspect or field of dream. For example, you’re dreaming to invent something, ask some inventors or scientist or even a teacher you know.

g) Always find time for yourself. Meditate.

h) Pray.

If a man in a war got plans for the security of his fellowmen, so with a man with dreams.

If you really knew what you wanted, understood all the possible effects and consequences in life, you could think of different ways and ideas to avoid failure.

WORK…put your DREAMS in REALITY

(I wanted to take Spongebob Squarepant, my favorite cartoon character as an example. Well, just wanted to you to know that there are moral lessons learned in watching cartoons. Also, I know this story that I will write is of course related in working out your dreams.)

For Spongebob Squarepants, work is his life. Working in Krusty Krab, making Krabby Patties and serving the costumers happily complete his day. His diligence and loyalty to his work, as a fry cook, makes him feel contented. But you know what, Spongebob before is not a fry cook. And working in Krusty Krab is a big dream for him. He’s story goes like this:

Before, Spongebob wasn’t really a fry cook. He was just a mediocre but has big dreams for himself, and one of his dreams was working in Krusty Krabs. When Mr. Eugene Krabs was looking for a fry cook in his restaurant, Spongebob immediately applied. At first, Mr. K and Squidward mocked at him as they knew that he was there to apply. They used to tell Spongeob that he was just a kid and wasn’t able to do the job. At first, Spongebob’s self-esteem turns into negative and he lost his confidence, but he never loses hope. On the next day, he went again to Krusty Krab, he tried to convince Mr. K. And with his ‘extra-ordinary-convincing-words’ Mr. K accepted him and put him on a test. As Spongebob passed and qualified on Mr. Krab’s test, he still not accepted Spongebob, until the time the Anchovies (the fishes that used to say “beep-beep!” and the jelly spotters, those fishes with Kevin, the sea cucumber). The Anchovies fill the whole Krusty Krab, and they were there to eat. They wanted to eat Krabby Patties as much as they could and left. In order to prove to Mr. K that he really deserved to be a fry cook, together with his spatula, he cooked as fast as he could to feed the Anchovies. Though it was really hard, he used his motivation and determination, he fed the Anchovies and save the whole restaurant. Mr. K realized his mistakes and he officially hired Spongebob.

He worked in Krusty Krab for so long until present. He improved himself and became a good follower. He didn’t want his dream became a big failure of his life. He tried everything he could to achieve and he didn’t want in to be a waste.

Another ‘meaningful’ story of Spongebob was about his driver’s license. He wasn’t a good student driver for he failed to pass all that examination under the teachings of Mrs. Puff. However, failure didn’t stop him of dreaming, believing and trying. But one thing wasn’t good about his consistency of failure, he didn’t try to plan to past. He couldn’t overcome his fear in the wheels and tension as he got in the car. That’s why he kept on failing.

With those stories of Spongebob, he never ever say die. He worked hard just to achieve his dreams. He believes in himself, though he fails. Failure isn’t a big thing to stop him from dreaming and believing, instead, he uses those not to stop and do everything to make him say “YES!!! I DID IT!” the sound of success.

Every wan man’s dreams play a significant role in their lives. It’s like a choice that he’s dealing with; improving every stage as they have reached it.

Having a biggest dream or even a craziest dream you can ever think of isn’t bad for it gives you inspiration and makes your life more meaningful. If you’re thinking that dreaming is only for dumb ones or for the kids, hoping for impossible, then maybe your life is revolving around a meaningless world, you’re going on the path of misery, where you don’t understand the things around you.

ADJUSTMENT

Adjusting is one of the hardest things to do once you have gone into a new place, next is trust, and so on. But, in your entire years of existence, when and what was your biggest adjustment? I mean, what was your experience that almost choked you ’coz of shame in adjusting with your new environment? Did it happen when you move into a new house, or school? Or joining new Sorority, fraternity or club? Maybe every tomorrow comes is a new day of adopting and learning and everyone experiences it.

Everyone must remember that “We cannot please everybody.” Yeah. That’s true. Everyone has different understanding and acceptance of things. Not all has a good judgment of you. Most of them think all the negative things they can notice in you. But, what should you do as you knew it?

a. Avoid them and try to get close to those who found you good.
b. Still continue living and ignore them.
c. Get close to them despite of their murmurs.
d. Prove them that they’re wrong.
e. Start courting them. Give gives and false compliments
f. Kick their big balls and asses as you hear them.
g. Assassinate them, kill their girlfriends/boyfriends.
h. Tie their tongues and get their eyes out of their face.
i. Pray for their souls.
j. Study witchcrafts to curse them.
k. Or, get a knife and tell yourself, “My life is nonsense because they hate me. I’ll end it here.”
l. Stuck yourself in the darkest place and be an EMO.

If you can only choose letters f, g, h, and j, from the list, why not. However, we can’t do those things against them. Once someone did something bad unto you, go get the M16 of your grandpa and kill him. Just kidding. Of course, you’ll do well in return. It isn’t about being martyr or so, but it is about gaining their trust to have new companies or better, friends. I know some will say that you’re a bunch of “plastic,” well, who cares? They are not the only ones who are willing to be your friend. Like what I say, you can’t please them. If they really don’t want to be your friend, then fine. Don’t drop your ego to heck for them.

Let’s move on to that topic. Let’s go to some experiences in your life where you actually did a really big adjustment.

Maybe when you were a little kid before, the biggest adjustment you ever had experienced was when you enter school and your mom secretly left you to go work. You trust her that she wouldn’t leave you. But when your consciousness was gone, she would teleport in her office. And once you turned back to the window where she waved at you moments ago, she was gone. And then you started crying and wailing. You broke all the glasses of the windows; you punched your teacher and broke all the crayons of your classmates. How was that? And as your mom came back again, it seemed that your world turned into heaven, and the principal stopped praying for you to calm. Well, it was really hard to adapt in new school, meeting new monstrous faces, that the only angel was your mom. However, as time passed by, you would get in to it until the time you were the one who was forcing your mom or your nanny to leave and never come back again. At first, your classmates thought that you were a crying baby, but when you actually know them, and so them to you, you became good friends. But that was when you were a little boy. It is really different as you grew up and meeting again different humanoids now.

Once you have entered high school, it is really different than that of grade school students even with preschool students. It is never about “Hindi na kita bati,” “Huwag mo na nga kausapin yan,” or even “Ang damot mo naman,” and “Lagi mo na lang akong niaaway,” whenever you are having an enemy or starting a fight. It is now about starting to be independent and finding for a lifetime friends. Once you piss someone of, it doesn’t take only for an hour or a day for him to forgive you. It can take months or years before he really accepts your apology. I guess that’s how teenagers welcome one another. They expect deeper understanding but less open-mindedness to one another. Also, they become more judgmental and less considerate of new people. Instead believing in the saying “first impression never last,” they do the other thing, most of them. Instead of knowing him more, they stick on what they have observed without asking him. It’s unfair. What would be the response of the victims of their judgmental minds and critic eyes? Well, maybe they got frightened and avoid them, or they will be the most rivals inside the class.

There will always be a bad result once you’ve started it wrong. Since you are new with everything in high school, you must not prioritize whatever they say against or favor of you. You shall do some step-by-step things that will make it easier for you to get along with them. (These ways are only my own ideas. These don’t mean that it will really happen. There is no basis of concluding this. It is still up to you if it’ll work in good or not)
a. Be a keen observer of your new environment.
b. Always put smile in your face whenever you enter the room or you talk to others. It will feel them that you are very glad to talk or to know them.
c. Once they say something funny or the whole class laugh, well you shall join the fun. Not literally laugh hard as well, giggle or grin is enough.
d. Introduce yourself nicely. Don’t brag everything at once.
e. Don’t be too loud. Others hate persons who are so “papansin.”
f. Don’t be so fool or boastful.
g. Don’t let them step on you. You must speak or fight for yourself but in a nice way.
h. I know that your first companion will be your seatmate. Start gaining friends in your row. That will be your first step of having friends.
i. Though you don’t want the one who seats beside you and you’re wishing to be with that nice guy or cute girl on the next side of the class, well, approaches him/her as class ends or when it is your break time.
j. Be yourself
k. Lastly, don’t let shame conquer you.
I guess those can help you to adjust. Well, it really doesn’t matter if you will follow me or not. What matters here is you are trying your best for them to like you.

I have been discussing two particular situations of adjusting in life. Well, maybe the next thing is adjusting yourself in having a commitment and losing your loved ones. Both sound serious especially because it talks about love and emotions, pain and hatred, qualm and satisfaction, envy and acrimony. Well, that is too deep.

How’d you able to accept things when you love at the wrong time with the right man? Like in the song, well I can’t bring to mind the title. It is really a hindrance for you and your partner. You are fighting against the people surrounds you, those who strongly disagree of your relationship. You have two things to choose from for this, either you stop having a relationship with her, or you will fight for your love though something is wrong. I know you will ask yourself that, “Why do they have to get in to ours if they have their own life?” Well, you know why? It’s human phenomenon. They judge people or getting themselves with others’ life. You can’t do anything but to follow your heart and what you think is right, or follows their minds, and what for them is better. Again, it’s unfair. But you know what; some successful stories of fighting for love are everywhere. However, some of them died together, and others live in poverty. (I’m out of the topic…darn!)

I think the first thing to do when you need to adjust with that kind of society is to tell them and prove them how you really love each other. In such way, what I used to watch with films, they talked in the middle of the crowd, and explain everything, they try to get close with others until some rumor makers observed them that they were nice and spread it all over the community. Also, they never did badly against them. What I am writing here is against my ideology. Honestly, why you should please them? It is them. You cannot change them in the way you want them to be. If you can’t stand living there, then move on other house, in a place that is really far from them. I guess, with that you could have a peaceful and quiet life. Trust me. Topic closes here.

Next, is adjusting or shall I say “moving on” from being broken and jaded because of love. Well, it really doesn’t mean that it is only about boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, but also on having a broken family or so. But then, I’ll focus on love as in boyfriend/girlfriend matter, because that is what I know for now.

Maybe losing the one you really love, the one who you really consider for lifetime, is one of the most painful thing you’ll feel, right? Of course. Things are very different before you were together and today you are alone. Actually, moving on with this kind of situation is really hard. It don’t take only for month or two, but maybe for years if you relationship gone beyond 2 years or more. Persons who are experiencing this are undergoing with “grief,” or long-time of sadness. They become emo at heart and telling themselves, “Fix me, I’m jaded,” or “I don’t want this kind of life,” then they cry a river, or become more suicidal. That happens if you broke up without any clarity, when he/she has another, or he did not go to you wedding.

I am not in the position to give advice because I don’t experience those yet. However, I’ll still give pieces of advice for you folks, I know some will question these saying “How’d you know or conclude those stuffs if you don’t experience the feeling of being broken,” or “It is easy for you to say and advice because you don’t know how it feels like.” Well, I don’t care about your words; at least I know for myself what to do when I am in your situation freak! Ok, back to reality :D

* Why you cry for over a lifetime if you were born in this world without him?
I guess I have a point here. You should not stop living when he left you; in fact, it is a sign that you should start a new life, a better life rather without him.

*Get yourself busy (in sports, books, community, family, etc.) for you not to remember him always.
With this kind of mind setting, your time will mostly spend in to your business or interests. You will have a less time thinking and remembering of everything about you and him. Moreover, you will become more outgoing or physically and mentally healthy.

*Think that he is not the only important thing in this world that should be treasured of.
Remember, your boy or your girl is not the most important organism. There are still others who are seeking for your attention and love. Give them a chance to feel your existence.

*Be an optimist.
Being an optimist isn’t about fooling yourself or blinding yourself to the painful truth; instead, it is about a widely moving on for you. You just don’t want to feel pity for yourself, and you really shouldn’t do that.

*Be more “pihikan” with relationship.
You should now learn your lessons from him. For the next time that you will have a relationship, don’t give too much trust that fast. Be a good observant, however, learn to appreciate.

*Avoid going, looking, or/and doing of the same things you used to share or have before.
If you really want to move on, avoid those stuffs that easily reminding him, such as photos, same meal you ordered, drinks, parks or pubs, etc. If you can do, throw everything or donate all the material things he gave you before.

*Use your mind to control you, not your heart.
It could make you decide strongly for yourself. You wouldn’t be weak and shallow again, like before.

I guess, those that are written there could help you to move on. Just practice it properly.

Actually, you can take all your time just to recover, however, still remember the first rule of life, and “Never waste time.” Ha-ha-ha.
There are so many things that you could actually connect with the word, “ADJUST.” Either negative or positive, or being trust or condemn. However, people aren’t all the same, especially with attitudes and perceptions. However, you should also know how to get with them. You should not wait for them to approach you. You must also help yourself to be familiarized with everything. Thou shall not be judgmental ones for it won’t ever help you. You may have an opinion but never stick to it. Be keen. Be simple. Be positive. Be a trust worthy. Be yourself. I know someone or somehow, you can adjust without being hurt too much.

“He is the ‘WORST’ guy I dreamed of”

Every girl has her own ideal guy they wished to meet. Some dream of guys like in fairytale. The one who looked like a prince riding on a white horse with shining scenery as his background. Some dreamed of actors (I’m one of them :D) as there ideal man. Moreover most of the girls wished he got to be perfect. How silly, right? Those are the guys that are very impossible to meet. Why we should dream of someone who is beyond reality?


I have this story of a girl who met his dream guy. They become good friends, however, she found out something that made that guy the worst.



“We’re have you been, my princess?” the handsome guy said to me. “I’ve been waiting for you. The party starts already” Party? I was confused. As I look at myself, I dressed in gown and I’m so beautiful. Who’s this guy in the first place?


“Can we dance, my princess?” He held my hand and my waist. It looked like a fairytale to me. Could it be real or just a dream? I danced with him and as I looked straight to his face, I barely saw it. I couldn’t recognize what he looks like. It was quite blur. As we continue dancing, I heard a ring of a bell. Too loud and too irritating!


“Kkkkrrrriiinnnngggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Oh darn it! My alarm clock was crushing my ears. I knew it. I should throw it next time.


I dreamed of him again. It was the fourth time he appeared in my dreams. Who could be that guy? He got everything I wanted to for a boyfriend, except from the face that was blurring. However, I knew his handsome. Wait a sec. What time is it? O.M.G!!! 6:05?!?! I’m freaking late!


“Mom, is everything ready? I am late!” I hurriedly go down stair, all dressed and I was looking for my mom. “Yes. Everything is well-prepared. You must leave now.” I kissed her and left the house. Darn it! I’m late. My teacher will scold me for sure. Gotta bike fast!


As I arrived, my adviser was not there yet. Phew! Thank goodness. I greet my best friend, Lance with a beautiful smile and saying “Good morning, Lance! :D” Lance was my best friend since grade school. We were that close but of course we often had a quarrel.


“Good morning, Izzy! Sup? You’re late again.” He pinched my cheeks.


“Oh stop it Lance! Or else I’ll call you on your worst alias, Lance Patrick or should I say, Pot-pot?” I laughed hard looking onto his face.


He hated calling him Pot-pot because before, when we were in fourth grade, he fart so loud. We all laughed then some of my classmates started to call him, “Pot-pot utot!”


“Shut up, Izzy! That was long time ago so please burry it with your secrets!” He lowered his voice and frowned.


My teacher arrived with an announcement to make. “Okay class. Sorry I’m Late. By the way, you will have a new classmate. Please come in.” As the he came in, he looked so familiar to me. As if we’ve met before but I wasn't pretty sure.


“Introduce yourself, please.” She said.


“Good morning to everyone. I am Kyle Alexis Santiago. You can call me Kyle for short. I am 17 years old. Nice meeting you all.” He smiled sweetly. He looked at me and my heart bit fast. I heard some of my classmate saying, “He’s so cute. We must be friend of him.” No doubt he was cute. Not just cute, he was also handsome.


“Izzy! Izzy!” Lance waved at me. “Hey! Don’t tell me you got a crush on him?”


“Of course…Not!” I turned my look outside and tried to focus. Remembering where did I meet that guy.


Kyle was that friendly with others. Well, some girls were flirting him and some of the boys were getting close to him. As the bell rung for lunch break, I called Lance to eat with me. Of course, I have my own packed lunch. While we were having a simple talk, Kyle just came.


“Excuse me, can I join you guys?” he said.


“Well of course you can. Take a seat.” Lance replied. Kyle got a chair and ate with us. I do not know how to react. With all all our classmates inviting him for lunch, he preferred to eat with us? Oh, never mind.


“I’m Lance Patrick Estevez, Lance for short and she’s…” Lance snapped at me.


“Oh! I’m sorry. I’m Misha Izzy Camille Martinez. You can call me Izzy.” I smiled.


We ate together and some of the girls looked at us. It seemed that they were jealous because Kyle didn’t go with them. We had a simple talk and laugh. I guess his cool and smart. Lance and I got close to him easily, which sounded bad for me.


Class ended and I used to go home with Lance. He noticed the smile on my face never fade after we ate with Kyle.


“Izzy, are you okay?” He looked at me.


“Oh! Yes, I am. Hehehe” I just smiled and laughed.


“What do you think about Kyle? I mean, how’d you find him?” Lance asked me. What’s wrong with him?


“He’s nice and cute. Honestly my dear best friend, I have a crush on him.:)”


“That fast? You got to be kidding me?”


“No. I’m not. When did I lie to you?” I frowned at him. “You know what…” I continued. “Kyle seems so familiar to me. It feels like we’ve been together before.” Lance just raised his eyebrow to me. Looked like his having a doubt or something.


“What?!? I’m telling you the truth. He got everything that I’m looking for a right man.” I grinned.


“Like?”


“For crying out loud Lance. I always tell you those stuffs. Like the looks, the height, the attitude and everything.”


He just sighed and tapped me.

“Wait Lance! I got it. He looked like the guy I always dreamed of. The one that I used to tell you every morning. Who danced me and dated with me. That Guy!!!” I said in a shocked voice, with excited eyes, looking at the clouds.


“I thought it was me.” He whispered


“I’m sorry? Are you saying something there?” I raised my left eyebrow and punched his shoulder.


“No! Nothing! I said I thought it was a monster…” He just laughed and pinched my cheeks again



Time passed by that fast to us. Kyle was active in school and gained many friends. Lance and Kyle used to have some kind of private talk lately and always tell me “It’s a guy thing,” or “None of your business.” Anyway, the three of us became best of friends.


Wait a minute. I should not be her friend. Why? Because as we got closer and closer to one another, I realized that this 'simple crush' on him gone deeper.I started to feel the feeling of “in love” that I used to deny to myself and to Lance, even to Kyle. Until one night, that changed between the three of us.


“Izzy, uhmmm…can we talk?” Kyle sounded serious as he said that. I looked at Lance but he just smile. He looked so sad. I don’t know. I guess his hiding something from me.


We left Lance and he talked to me. I didn’t want this kind of scenario. My heart was pounding.


“Uhmm…Kyle, what is this 'talk' all about?” I started the conversation.


“Izzy, I know that this is quit fast and I should not feel this, but, I can hide it anymore.” He looked at me seriously and he's blushing. So do I. “Izzy…” He continued. “I like you. I always do. It started as I hanged out with you and Lance.” Oh man! I didn’t know what to say. Should I reject him or follow my heart?


“Kyle, you know what, Lance is my best friend. He should know about this thing.”


“I know. But, I don’t care about him. I should tell you this first before…” He paused.


“What do you mean ‘you should tell it first before…’ Is there anything I need to know?” I am totally lost of what was going on.


“It’s not what you’re thinking. I have to do it now before anyone could.” was it a compliment or insult?


“Kyle…” He held my hand that made me stopped. Oh darn!


“Izzy…can you be my girl?” It’s getting hot in here! What would I say?


“Uhmmm…I guess…”Darn… A freaking yes or no?


“No! She can’t be your girl!” What the heck! Who was that intruder? Lance? WTF was he doing here? And who was the girl with him?


“Lance! What are you doing here?” Kyle was shocked and he was sweating.


“Stay away from him, Izzy! He’s just using you!” Lance shouted. He looked very angry. What’s going on? Using me? I don’t get it.


“What are you talking about, Lance?”


“I could explain though.” The girl intruded.


“Shut up! We don’t know you!” Kyle yelled to the girl. She was almost crying.


“You shut up! Izzy, I’m Al’s girlfriend!” the girl exclaimed.

WTF she said? Girlfriend?


The strong breeze of air passed my body that made me chilled as I saw her, crying. Lance was at wits of anger and Kyle looked so threatened.


“I’m lost! Can you explain it to me?” I shouted.


“I saw this girl in front of the gate and crying. I approached her and she’s asking me for Kyle. She told me everything about what they have. Kyle left this girl without saying anything. Until one day, she heard that Kyle transferred in our school and in loved with someone, and that was you, Izzy. She wants to confirm if that was true but Kyle..."


“...that’s not true. I don’t know her Izzy. Believe me.” Kyle shouted that made Lance stopped.


This conversation was getting so complicated. The night was getting so deep that I could actually feel the pain in my heart from the words I've heard from them.


“Shut up! You Freak.” Lance punched him and Kyle fell off the ground “So, I heard them right, what our classmates always talk about, and the girl that you will play with.” He held Kyle’s shirt.


“You are just jealous to me Lance because Izzy’s ignoring you. Don’t make all this stories, dude.” Kyle replied. He just smiled to Lance sarcastically.


I didn't feel myself. For a short moment of time, I lost my consciousness and i didn't hear anything. Until the tears fell down onto my face, I started to cry and I heard Lance, shouting.


I started to cry. “I am so foolish to ignore them and allow you to get close with my best friend. I am so stupid to give my love to a guy like you!” He pushed away Kyle and looked at me.


I slapped Kyle really hard. “How could you do this to me? Now, are you happy that I fall for you? I’m hoping that you will be the right man. But I’m totally wrong! Because you are the worst guy I dreamed of!


“Now I know. You were just a dream to me. For you will never come true ‘cause you are beyond my world. I should not wish to see you!” I ran away and cried


The cold wind that night seemed to give a sympathy to me. I sat down on the bench, I hid my head behind my knees to cover my face. Moment after, I felt Lance hand on my shoulder, trying to comfort me.


He followed me.I did not say anything. I just leaned on him and cried again. He accompanied me until we get home.


My mom saw me with sore eyes. She did not ask anything, she just tell Lance to accompany me upstairs but I refused. I told Lance to leave because it was getting late and I thanked him.


That night, I felt so tired and pushed. While I’m staring at the stars and the sky, I realized something…


“We should not dream of someone that could never be real. Instead of wishing and finding for your ideal man, why don’t you let your eyes closed and try to open you heart. Let it feel the right one for you.”

*To my readers, well, don't take all I wrote as an advice of an expert. Well, it's just a rule mine, and base from what I experienced. It's up to you if you react negatively or what. These rules are for teens that enjoyed playing games with someone. These are pieces of advice. Some are good, well most are bad. However, why don't you just read it.:D*

PlaYBoY and PlaYGiRL RULE 101

1. Huwag kang mang-aagaw ng GF/BF ng iba.

*That is a big no! No! It’s better to play with someone rather than to destroy ones relationship. Yan ang pinakamasamang gawain ng playboy/playgirl and you must stop it!


2. Huwag mong ipapahalatang hindi ka serious sa kung anung meron kayo.

*You should not let them know. You must keep it hanggang sa nabubuhay pa kayo sa mundo. Moreover, it is good yet mean that you have something to laugh about kapag nakikita mo siya.:D


3. Umarteng nahihirapan kang i-reject siya kahit deep inside tuwang-tuwa ka.

*Pangatawanan mong until the end na bait baitan ka sa kanya kahit hindi. Hayaan mong tumatak sa isip niya na though you reject him, you’re still kind and humble.


4. Magiwan ng malaking bakas sa buhay niya.

*Once you rejected him/her, make sure you brought a big change in his life. Why? Because until the very last beat of his/her heart for you, nakikipaglaro ka pa rin. Mas mahihirapan kang niyang kalimutan and again, you have something to laugh about.


5. Pag-aralan ang “Tanggi-Payag-Agad system.”

*You should know that. Magagawa mo lang yan kapag may inaalok siyang bagay or piniprisenta niya ang sarili niya to do something. At first, ayaw mo but kapag tinanong ka niya ulit, papayag ka na rin.


6. Don’t answer his calls or response to his messages most of the time.
*It’s just a waste of time of course. Once in a while, let him feel na medyo hindi mo siya trip katext or kausap minsan para mas lalo ka niyang mamiss. Once you have answered any of those, make an excuse.


7. Huwag kalimutang mag-greet or mag bigay ng compliments sa kanya then afterwards, magdedemand ka ng kung anu-ano.


8. Huwag hayaang magtagal ang pakikipaglaro mo.

*Once you play with someone, long enough na ang 5 months or much better if that’s 3. Mahirap na baka nadevelop ka na pala hindi mo lang napansin then at the end namimiss mo na rin siya. You’ll lose, I swear.


9. Be charming and cute at all times.


10. Never put “I” whenever you say “love you” or “labyu” if you never mean it.

*Of course, never put that letter on that phrase. Why? Coz in the first place you don’t love him so don’t put yourself in there. It’s just that, you say “love you” for nothing.


11. Huwag pansinin pag nagpapaimportante.


12. Make sure that he/she feels something special for you. Like admiration, crush or what.
*Mas madaling manloko kapag kuhang kuha mo na ang atensyon niya. Mahirap kasi kapag stranger lang yun.

13. Huwag manloko or lokohin ang mga taong sobrang posses sayo.
*If that kind of guys ang target mo, well think again. Mahihirapaan kang kumawala sa ganyan. They will not allow you to just leave or quit. If you play with them, it will be never ending.


14. Tawanan mo lang siya kapag naglalambing, sa text man or personal.


15. Huwag mong hayaang maubos ang pasensya mo sa kanya.

*You must stay calm and relax. Kung nangungulit man hayaan mo lang. Once na nag-away kayo, wag kang padadala sa inis niya. Why? Cause if you did, baka mapikon ka lang sa kanya ant masabing pinaglalaruan mo lang siya. With that, your secret will never be a secret and pwedeng masira ka pa sa iba.


16. Bumitaw ng pangako but at the end, mapapako lang; then make an excuse.


17. Siguraduhing manhid ka na sa “love.”

*It’s better if you cannot feel any special with anyone. Mas mapapadali ang panloloko mo and you’ll always win. However, never close your heart baka nandyan na talaga ang katapat mo, a guy or a gal na magbabago sayo.


18. Pangatawanan ang panloloko. Once you quit with him/her, bawal ng umulit.


19. Never play with you friends, most especially if he/she belongs to your circle of friends.

*If you don’t want to live alone and be hate by all of your friends, never do that.


20. Bawal ma-inlove sa kanya.

*You should avoid that. I could say that is one of your biggest mortal sin. Why? Because you might end up crying at the end of the game.

*these are my rules for playboy or playgirls. Well, I don’t care if you condemn or agree those; I just want to give some tips whenever you undergo playing. Ciao*

Flight to Paradise

Before my vacation ends and another sorrow of school come, I just want to share my flight to paradise, my experience in Puerto Princessa together with my family and family friend.

Cebu Pacific Airlines

I wear green blouse, Straight-cut denim pants in blue color, flat Dickies shoes. My family and I are now at the airport because 30mins or less will be on boarding and wait for our flight. It is 3:54pm to be exact and I carry my own baggage. Everyone seems so excited even my baby cousin, Gelo. While waiting for the whoever-voice to inform that the airplane is ready I chat with my brother, Gabby who is also excited. This is everyone’s first time to ride in an airplane, except from the oldies of course.

"All passenger on board going to Puerto Princessa, Palawan...blah..blah..blah.." the whoever-voice said. I hear it loud and clear. This is it. We are now going to the plane and an hour or more after we are at the Palawan.

At the AIRCRAFT

the flight stewardess in yellow uniform welcomes the entire passenger. My seat number is 15C and I sit beside the window so I could ever enjoy the view at the sky. Well, before anything else, safety first. The stewardess and attendants are in the aisle explaining all the safety measure and how to use it. After that, the pilot introduces himself. "I am your pilot, Capt. Santiago..." and blah blah...
It is now 4:45, approximately and we are now leaving the airport as well as Manila.

Our flight will take an hour or 2 so we will be at Palawan by 6:45 or 7.
Now we are on the sky, I couldn't even see the things underneath us. They are very tiny and only the colors and there movements are noticeable. As we pass through the city, Islands that are so green and ocean and seas that are very clear are the eye-catchers now. As we go higher, I could possibly see the shape as well as the boundaries of each island and regions. I notice the shape of some places like the Quezon, which I could only see and recognize at the maps before.

On the plane, the stewards start a game so the passenger will not get bore. The game is somewhat same us the Bring me, however you will only raise it, so maybe that game is "Show me."
Then the game begins. Well, I don't focus much onto them because I really enjoy the view outside. The cloud formation that looks so fluffy if I touched it and the water that is so clear that I could see the bunch of Coral reefs. Wait. Coral reefs? That is one of Palawan's trademarks. It means that we are near in our destination. And the pilot announce.

We reach the palawan airport around 6 pass. Well, my brother and I will not leave the plane without any shots in there. As we leave the plane, another breath taking clicks from us with the plane as our background.

Now, we are waiting for Tita Joy, My mom’s college bestfriend because she will lead us to the house where we will stay for 5 days.

GUEST HOUSE, our Palawan home.

First night...

This is our first night here and we are on Room #1. Of course, my roommates are my sibling and my Lola. There is a double-deck bed and another bed at the floor. Same as what Room #3 have, where my Ninong and his family sleep. In Room #2, a bed that is big enough for my parents and my baby cousin. Well, in a room, there is always a cabinet, aircon, and a mirror. This house is a typical house. At the living room, typical things are there. Wooden chairs, TV and a lil' table. We have our own kitchen and fridge, of course a dining table and cabinets.

Well, everyone is hungry after that travel, so what do we have in dinner? We have fried chicken, well rice, Pancit, and vegetable and fruits. No pork and other shellfish dishes ‘cause we live at the Palawan Adventist Hospital guesthouse. Place of Adventist. So, let’s enjoy the dinner!

Before we sleep, such plans are made but we are so tired so we just go into our room. Like my daily routine before I go to sleep, I take a bath and other stuffs. I take pictures and videos. Well this is the first night of my best ever vacation so this must be so memorable. I call my best friend and cousins just to tell them so. I text my other friends and brag everything. This is great! I'm ready for Tomorrow!

ESTRELLA FALLS, fridge form of water..:))

It is 6:00 am in the morning and everyone is awake. Well my mom tells us that we should prepare ourselves because at 8, we're going to leave. I have no choice but to get up. I take a bath and prepare my things. Tita said that we will be at the falls today and my mom is forcing us to bring our dress for swimming. Well, I am not on the mood to swim but I think it’s not time to be KJ.

Hmmm....what will I wear? Maybe miniskirt and fitted t-shirt is enough. Sun glass and anklet are my accessories. Ok. I'm it. I'm ready to leave but of course I have to eat something. Hmm...we have a wheat bread and we could order food outside. Well, I rather eat the bread; I'm still on a diet so I have to limit the foods I ate. Everyone is ready and the jeepney is here.

The ride takes almost 3 hours plus our stopovers and that would be 4 hours or more. What a trip. It almost takes the whole morning. The view and air is nice. Well, gotta enjoy the whole trip.

As we reach the place, looks so relaxing and fresh. There are trees that shade us from sunlight. The sound of the birds, other insects and running water. Wait, that's it! The sound of the falls. I walk fast of excitement and to reach where that sound came. And there it is! The Estrella Falls. It reminds me of someone. (Haha. My math teacher before:D)

The water is so cold that could make us shiver when we go there. Well, before we swim, we eat first. It's almost lunch time when we reach the place so we are very hungry. After I eat, I hurriedly go near the falls and well slowly put my feet onto it. I could see in the faces of other people there that they really enjoy the water, so do I. I get some rocks under the water. There are also small fishes in there. Another surprising thing is I see wild monkeys. They are free to go and swing on to the trees. I enjoy watching them and I take video. I also see big butterflies that can drop in your hands, frogs and small crabs. This place is so great!

EXPLORING the OFF-WHITE SAND BEACH...

The next day, we go to beach. Well, that is beach and I'm sure that the sun could make me darker; I have to apply sun block now. As we reach the beach via van, darn! this is amazing.

The beach has very fine and almost white sand, and sea shells and corals along the shore. I will never leave this place without sand with me. I just drop my things at the cottage and hurriedly write my name on the sand. I take pictures of it. I change my attire into shorts and a v-neck blouse.
I, kuya gab, ate mitch and heidee walk together along the shore just to get some shells and rocks before we leave. Well, we don't stay that long there because we have our second destination. But of course, I get my sand. Hahaha!

UNDERGROUND RIVER

*underground river is the top 1 at the "7 Wonders of the World." What could be find there and why it is a treasure of the Philippines, well find out as I tell.*

Actually, I have heard so much things about that river and I have watched such documentaries before. This is one of the 7 wonders of the world and reaches the first spot. How cool and amazing.


We reach the place via a motor boat. Yes. That is my first time. A great experience. I ride with my Ninong and his family. Well, the sea is clear and I could actually see the sea floor and the reefs. Moments later and we are there.

As we get in the information place, lots of tourists are there and waiting. I thought this will not take long but we wait for an hour. And luckily, we are the last batch of tourist will go there.
The place is so dark and the emergency light is the only source of light we got. Lots of amazing rock formation is there. Mamang Bangkero tours us and tells so many things about it.

According to him, the cave was full of bats and other nocturnal creature under the water. The river is approximately 9 meters long and tourists are allowed to tour the half of it. Thousands of bats live there. He said that some of the rock formations here take thousands of years. The rocks formed such things that cannot be explained how it turns in such images. There is the last supper, a cathedral, a ceiling like what Michael Angelo painted, cats, vegetables (squash, cucumber, sitaw), mushrooms, corns, and other. There is also a naked girl, but her back is the only thing that can be seen. An eagle, a big candle, the 3 kings, angels, and the most amazing thing is the half face of Jesus Christ.

Well, the place is quite rainy and wet. THe river is not that clear and the rocks are all wet. Bats are so noisy; I guess that is how they welcome the tourists.
The tour takes 45 mins; worth it.

BAYWALK and NOODLE HOUSE

Before we go home, Tita Joy tells us that we’re just going to visit the baywalk for a while. Well, same as what Manila had, colorful lights, food stands, bikes, and of course, lovers. Well. The place is nice and colorful. My sister buys personalized accessories for herself and we buy street foods. We take a long walk until we feel our stomachs are striving for a food. Because it is late, we just drop at the noodle house to eat. Well, I miss to eat one of those so I think it’s the time to eat lot. As we have our order, the look of it is so creepy. The noodles are not the usual one so as the ‘sabaw.’ I thought only the appearance is creepy, but, also it’s taste! I almost curse that food. Instead of eating a lot, I just eat the egg and some noodles and a bit sip of the ‘sabaw.’ That food is disgusting and worst noodle ever!!! Almost all of us can’t take it’s odd taste and don’t finish it. Mom says that the noodle is a rice noodle. Ugh…it’s still awful. As we arrived home, we just eat a bread to complete our dinner.


HUNDA BAY

Our fourth day here in this paradise. So far, so great! I think I don’t want to leave this place anymore. As usual, we will have another island adventure. I hear mom and Tita Tess talking about somewhat “Island Hopping.” At first I don’t get what they mean until Tita joy tells us that we will visit different island of Puerto Princessa. It sounds pretty cool and adventurous. Well, gotta prepare myself.

For today’s vehicle we have…a jeepney. Oh heck! I think this is a bad time to use the jeep to travel ‘cause we have a rainy morning here. Well, we don’t have any choice. Before we go Island hopping, we drop by first at the Hunda bay. There is a souvenir shop and that catches my attention. As I look at those souvenirs, I remember people asking for ‘pasalubong.’ The vendors are so friendly and nice. We don’t stay long at the Hunda Bay, however, we will be there as we done Island Hopping.

SNAKE ISLAND

The trip takes almost half an hour. As what Tita Joy tells me, we are going to visit islands. As what we did, we just pass through those islands. Hmmm...I misunderstood what she said, didin’t I? Well, Mamang bangkero, or simply Kuya Bong name all the islands we pass through. There is the Cory Island, where lots of coral can be found. The Bats Island because there are thousands of bats lived there. The Starfish Island, where you can find thousands of starfish. My favorite islands, the Lu-Li Island (Lulubog-Lilitaw). He mention other names but I barely here it because of the motor of the boat. He tells us that those islands are owned by different people. I always hear the Dos Palmas as the owner of some of the island. I never knew that a family could ever buy an island. Well, that is pretty cool! Only the Snake Island is the only island the government of Puerto Princessa owned. By the way, it is called “Snake Island” ‘cause it shaped like a snake, not because there are snakes lived in there.

The weather is bad. It is still raining while we’re traveling until we get there. I first notice the sand of the Island. It is big and rough unlike the first beach we experienced, but they have the same color only darker ‘cause it’s raining. I would love to get some but it doesn’t look good. We play beach volleyball though it’s raining and the ball is crushing my hands as I hit it because of the sand. That game isn’t just an ordinary one, ‘cause there are some tourists join us and deal. Well, unfortunately my team lose. We almost do the deal to the winning team, the team of my brother, but we don’t ‘cause we are going to eat now. For lunch, we got fishes in 4 different servings and fruits. This lunch makes me forget of my diet. This is bad!!!

This trip will not end with just simple view and breathe taking lunch. We also have done snorkeling. I see fishes in blue, yellow and green color. Like the fish friend of Nemo. There are also angel fish. This is really great but the area is not that big to enjoy it to the fullest.

Moments after we explore under the sea, we buy Halo-halo, just for nothing. We just want to eat one. After a while, we decided to go home. We got another ride of the motorboat. As we reach the Hunda bay, we hurriedly go to the shower room cause we are longing to wash ourselves (there is no shower at the snake island). As I look at the souvenir shop, there is a ‘makulit’ guy who keeps on chatting me as if he owns the shop. Well the owner knows him. I buy six key chains of different designs, 2 bracelets. This guy is good in sales talk, he made me buy stuffs, well I ask for discount. I notice this tube like bamboo that creates a relaxing sound, a rainmaker. This thing is freaking amazing. I decided to buy it and give to dinky as her souvenir. The jeep is here. We gotta go now.

THE BEST THAT SAVE FOR LAST

This is our last day here in this paradise because later, around four o’clock in the afternoon, we are about to leave this place. We don’t go anywhere today because we are all busy packing our things. My mom and Tita tess gone to market to buy some foods and fresh fishes. Well, the teens got plans. We’ll go to NCCC just to buy things, well of course on our own.

As we leave the hospital, we got our first strike of foolishness. We ride a cab on a wrong route. Luckily, we are not paid and not that far to stop and leave the cab (Thanks for the concerned lady who tells us that we got a wrong way). We all end up laughing and ask some people of the right route. At last! We got it right. We ride a cab going to “Bayan” and tell the driver to drop us at NCCC.

As we reach it, I feel the feeling of disappointment. I thought this is the same as Robinsons or what but it’s just a bunch of joke. We got another strike of ignorance here. It’s just a typical market that is air-conditioned. Ugh…we decided to leave this place and eat for lunch. We eat at Jollibee and I ordered a jollyhotdog, I guess that will satisfy my hunger. After we eat, we go to bay walk, like what ate mitch longing to visit.

We are all hoping that this baywalk won’t give us the third strike and another disappointment. When we are on the way, we pass a souvenir shop, the one I’m looking for. Well, I can’t turn there back; we’re riding a tricycle now. Finally, we are here at the baywalk! Gosh! This place is cemetery when day. It seems that this is being abandoned by people. There are no vendors, no bikes, and no lovers. Only the view and the breeze are the one who welcome us. I almost kill my sister because of this baywalk! And we got the third strike, the strike of regrets. Moments after, we just laugh hard despite of our disappointment and go to the market to find good souvenirs.

At the end of this joy ride, we find what we are looking for, a souvenir shop. We buy all we want and leave. As we arrive home, our parents welcome us with a sarcastic smile almost saying “Did you enjoy it?” I went to our room and lay on the bed. I’m tired! After a while, I ordered a food at the cafeteria and eat. I’m surely starving now.

THE END OF OUR JOURNEY

I really enjoy my 5 days of staying at Palawan, who’s not? Every single moment and things must not be missed for you will end up of regretting. All the bad and good experiences I got are now my treasured memories until I visit there again.

People were right, once you’ve been there, you will wish for another or not leaving the place. We all leave with great smiles, a face of satisfaction. Until the last tick of the clock that we are here in this paradise, no one could stop us of taking shots.

I hope in the preceeding years I will be more active in posting some entries here.
I'll do my best to get all the ideas I can get and write it down here.

I have posted blogs that really happening to my life and what is my perception of things. I have posted different poems where I reflected my mood and my emotions. I have posted funny stuffs and serious things that makes me laugh. Those small things that makes me smile.

I shared the part of me in posting here, I opened my life and to those who read my entry. In the next posts, it will not only me who I am reflectng to, but all the things surround me.

I hope peole that visit here would love my site and get interested on my post.
But just like the old saying of ours...

"it doesn't matter if they like it or not, if they read it or not, as long as you are happy on what you are doing, you are still on the right track of your happiness."

We do not aim for a thousand followers, we aim for expressing ourselves. We do not market our site, but maybe better if other could relate themselves.
